Democracy at work

I conduct research on democracy in the workplace and its connection to political democracy. 

My work explores how democratic practices within organizations—such as employee participation, co-determination, works councils, union presence and shared decision-making—can strengthen democratic values and engagement in the broader political sphere. 

By examining these links, I aim to highlight how empowering people at work can contribute to a more just, equitable, and participatory society overall.
